After the successful bid to the National Lottery Community Fund, BWA Burnley will be delivering a bespoke Information, Advice and Guidance service for all that live in the Burnley area.
Our bespoke Women's Project. Assiting women to empower other by empowering themselves. Come along to sessions on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
We are working with Shakeel and Shahida who are qualified NHS practitioners. They deliver regular workshops at BWA in Bowel Cancer, Breast Screening, Dementia and many other health related issues.
We are currently in partnership with our local job centre in Burnley.
Come along every Tuesday morning 10am - 1pm and access our advice and guidance.
We are currently in partnership with Lancashire County Council's Education Officer Apu Chowdhury based in Burnley Campus who helps with school admissions and education needs througout all the schools in Burnley area.
We have partnered up with the Social Prescribing Team.
Referals from GPs are made to them and we provide our advice and guidance with anyone who normally cannot access our service due to health difficulties.
We are now delivering I.T. courses in partnership with Learn My Way. Our experienced tutors deliver these courses. Come and take part, gain expericence, knowledge and skills in I.T. and recieve a certificate at the end of the course which will help with future employability.

We have partnered up Inspire in Burnley. We are based there every Thursdays 10am - 12pm.

We have been working very closely with Lancashire BME Network to provide energy fuel vouchers for those struggling with living costs.
The energy fuel voucher scheme is no longer available at the moment but stay posted on our social media as they will be available in the foreseeable future.
We look foward to working with our new partnership organisation One Voice who will deliver Maths workshops for women at BWA who will learn practical everyday numeracy
skills to help with bills and budgeting, Increasing your knowledge, skills, and confidence with numbers and help to understand your current maths level and learning style.
BPRCVS delivers a wide range of services to support the health and wellbeing of residents in the communities of Burnley.
We have been doing partnership work with BPRCVS since 2018.
We are working with NHS Talking Therapies to provide Women in the local community to get help with their Mental Health. Stay posted on our facebook page for upcoming Mental Health Workshops Sessions
